I took a different known good SIM and put it in the BR1 Mini and it connects to Verizon without a problem so the device seems fine also. SIMs are setup with static IP.

This helped: Go to settings > WiFi > saved networks Delete your network (and also other networks that are in range of your home wifi, if you've connected to those before) Restart device Connect to your network again Hopefully it'll help you too.
